The secretary came to the SUB Friday campaigning for President Obama, who appointed her to office. Solis touched on issues surrounding transitions of students from high school to universities and community colleges and spoke about the importance of education in producing a skilled workforce. Wellman said this was an important topic because, “We are all going to be part of the workforce.”
