David Harris said taking on two roles at the University is hectic. Harris became acting president at UNM in January when Louis Caldera resigned.
In lieu of an interim president, UNM will have three leaders for next year.
The UNM Board of Regents unanimously approved a tuition and fees increase of 6.11 percent on Tuesday.

Joseph GarcĀ°a was voted president of GPSA on Thursday. A total of 751 students voted online from Monday through Thursday to select leadership for the Graduate and Professional Students Association.

The regents who attended Friday's Budget Summit all agreed tuition will have to go up next year. But no one knew by how much.
At today's Budget Summit, the University will be looking at possible tuition increases for next year. Five campus groups submitted proposals to the president's office last week that will be discussed at the summit.
