Designing duo defies clothing clichÇs

Matt Witkowski and David Reis met at Loborientation in 2004. Now, the UNM students are in the process of expanding their clothing company Rhidden. "It's our own style," Witkowski said. "It's not limited. It's not skater or designer. It's our own thing."

Take your tykes to school

UNM's Children's Campus received a four-year grant to help keep student parents in school. The grant will give just under a $1 million over the next four years to the Children's Campus. Each year, the grant will be approximately $248,763, according to a summary of the grant.

Puppies tour campus to raise Katrina funds

by Apollonia Trujillo Daily Lobo Memphis, a 4-month-old pit bull mix, was named after a detour his rescuers had to take when leaving Katrina-ravaged New Orleans. Adrienne Ledden and Carol Jade rescued Memphis, with nine other animals, including his sister Molly, in September.

Fund-raiser puts cancer on the run

by Apollonia Trujillo Daily Lobo UNM athletes and students participated in the sixth annual Run for Relief on Sunday to help fight cancer. The participants were sponsored by outside contributors who donate an amount for every mile completed or donate a flat amount.
