UNM focuses on self, Utah, BYU rematches

COLUMN: Proper English going extinct

English is the Frankenstein of languages - a little from here, a little from there; a mandible from Latin, some skin from Old Norse, and brought to life by some energy from French. English, like America, is a melting pot language, a hodgepodge of idioms, a smorgasbord without a sneeze guard, contaminated by all those who partake in the feast.

Practices prepare team for situations

The first couple weeks of practice consisted of us getting acclimated to a new system, which means coaching style and plays. I don't want to go too in depth with explaining our plays, but in our offense we are going to have a lot of movement with both the ball and players.

LETTER: Local pub should be ashamed of behavior

Editor, I was shocked at the article about a local bar denying a pregnant woman entry. This action was outrageous and what's even worse is that they rewarded this behavior. Refusing to serve a pregnant woman is one thing but this is going too far. What's next, requiring all women of childbearing age to submit to a pregnancy test before entering any establishment that serves alcohol? My full support goes to Heather and shame on Brewster's Pub.

O.A.R good for steamy musicality anytime

When I heard that Of A Revolution, better know as O.A.R., was planning to return to Albuquerque Halloween night, I jumped at the invitation to interview the talented quintet.
