Students complain of library clamor

by Katy Knapp Daily Lobo Teresa Neely, director of Zimmerman Library, said the West Wing study area in the building is not a designated quiet space. However, she has received about five complaints from students who say their study sessions are disrupted by public discussions and meetings held in the wing, especially in the Willard Reading Room.

Scooting away from gas prices

Part-time faculty get few benefits, little pay

Med school hosts memorial

Bookstore promotes children's literacy at fair

Students vote in ASUNM senators

Law school creates tax program

by Annette Herrera Daily Lobo UNM's Clinical Law Program has created a low-income taxpayer program with the help of a grant provided by the IRS. Evan Hobbs, a New Mexico attorney, was hired to help with the low-income taxpayer program and supervise law students providing legal advice to taxpayers.

Symposium to showcase voice-operated wheelchair

by Christopher Sanchez Daily Lobo Every Tuesday morning for nine months, four UNM students have been working to make a voice-activated wheelchair a reality. "This can really help people in the end. It can really serve a purpose later on and help somebody's life out," said Patrick Thomas, a UNM senior.
