New Mexico Craig Neal has added another member to his staff, the University of New Mexico announced on Monday.
Glenn Cain will trade his Jayhawks’ attire for Lobo gear after signing as the new Athletic Performance Coach for the men’s basketball program.
"We are excited to have Glenn join our program," Neal said in a statement. "He comes here after five years with Kansas University and brings a great deal of experience to Lobo Basketball."
While during his five years at Kansas, Cain worked directly for four other teams, getting eight players drafted, four of which were lottery picks, according to a release. In those five years, Cain was able to raise over $100,000 for the Sport Performance budget, as well as overseeing the graduate assistant program.
Cain received his Master of Education in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a concentration Strength and Conditioning at Springfield College. His undergraduate degree in Health Studies was obtained from Gettysburg College.
