For the third time in about as many weeks, the UNM community is being warned of an incident of sexual harassment on or near main campus.
On Friday at 8:52 a.m., a LoboAlert was sent to University students and faculty advising them of a “[dark] skinned male early 20’s 5’6-5’8 [black] hair shaved sides [white] shirt [black] design” who “grabbed female’s rear end” and was last spotted around the SUB and Popejoy areas. The incident occured at 8:22 a.m., according to the advisory.
On Tuesday, Aug.11, UNMPD arrested a 50-year-old man accused of sexually harassing a female student on campus the day before, after she gave him food and agreed to pray with him.
If anyone has any information they are encouraged to call UNMPD’s non-emergency number at 277-2241.
More to come later.
