The UNM Center for Reproductive Health provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic health services for New Mexico women, and it does so in a safe and supportive environment.
The clinic is staffed by UNM physicians who are nationally recognized medical experts. The clinic provides prenatal care, miscarriage management, well woman care, pregnancy termination and contraception for our patients.
The safety and well-being of our patients, both men and women, remains our highest responsibility.
As a precautionary measure and consistent with national standard operating procedures, 911 is called if transport of the patient from a clinic to the hospital is under consideration.
It is unfortunate that organizations use situations without knowing the facts, especially when discussion and public disclosure may violate the right of all patients to maintain the confidentiality of their medical information.
