17-year-old found dead in restaurant parking lot
(AP) - A 17-year-old Albuquerque boy has been found dead in a car in the parking lot of a restaurant. Police say they were called about a fight at an Albuquerque park, then shortly afterward received a call to the restaurant. They found 17-year-old Isidro Castillo dead inside the car.
Teen arrested, accused of killing family members
EASLEY, S.C. (AP) - A teenager who had recently moved back home after breaking up with his live-in girlfriend is accused of gunning down and killing four family members, stunning friends and neighbors. Nathaniel Dickson, 18, was arrested Saturday night at a home in Belton about 20 miles from where the bodies of his father, stepmother, stepsister and younger brother were found.
Haitian president names prime minister's successor
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) - Haitian radio is reporting that President Rene Preval has picked an international banking official to be the troubled country's next prime minister. Radio Metropole says that Inter-American Development Bank senior official Ericq Pierre will succeed ousted Prime Minister Jacques-Edouard Alexis.
