Daily Lobo: Are you interested in film?
Brandy Rodke: I am, definitely. I think there is a lot of psychology in film. I want to try and put film and psychology together.
DL: What is your favorite movie of all time?
BR: I would have to say "Donnie Darko." It's about time travel, and there is a lot of significance in it.
DL: How is the cinematic arts program here at UNM?

BR: I like it. I think it's pretty good. No complaints here.
DL: Have you taken a lot of film classes?
BR: Not yet. I'm in Media Arts 210 right now, and it's pretty cool. I like my teacher. She's really cool. She's showing us a lot of good stuff, a large variety of films. So, that's good.
DL: What do you want to do in the future?
BR: I want to direct films. Actually, I want to direct, produce and screen write. I want to do all three.
DL: A triple threat?
BR: For sure.
DL: Is film something you've always been interested in?
BR: Yeah, definitely. Ever since I was about 8 years old - ever since I could watch movies, basically. I was just always analyzing movies and looking at movies in a different way.
DL: Is there anything else that you like to do in your free time?
BR: I like to draw. Music is a big part of my life.
DL: What's your favorite type of music?
BR: I love the piano. I know - surprising with the Mohawk.
DL: Who is your favorite artist of all time?
BR: Beethoven. I love his music. He has a lot of intense sounds. And I don't know - I love the way he expresses himself through music.
DL: And you want to express yourself in film?
BR: Exactly. And maybe even I can produce my own music. I want to do everything myself.
