Someone called UNM Police after witnessing a vehicle on fire on Stanford Avenue. When a UNM Police officer arrived at the scene, the fire had already been put out. The officer said the fire ignited in the engine compartment of the vehicle. An unknown man put out the fire with an extinguisher. The Albuquerque Fire Department arrived and disconnected the vehicle's battery. The woman who owned the vehicle told the officer that she would return later that night to retrieve it.

A UNM Police officer went to the UNM Pharmacy because employees thought a co-worker might commit suicide. Employees told the officer the woman threatened to kill herself three years ago, but co-workers talked her out of it. They said they were told not to report the incident because it might violate privacy codes. The staff members told the officer that the woman was seen crying at her desk, and one employee overheard the woman say she "couldn't continue to live like this." The woman told a co-worker that she felt worthless and didn't know what to do. Soon after, the woman left work and the incident was reported to a supervisor. The next day, the supervisor asked the woman to get a mental health evaluation. The woman said she would be fired and refused. The woman ran out of the office and left in her vehicle. Employees told the officer the woman threatens to kill herself on a regular basis, and they have notified their supervisors every time.
