Rabies confirmed in Grant County fox

SILVER CITY (AP) - Rabies has been confirmed in a fox from Grant County that had been trying to enter a kennel containing three dogs, state authorities said. The dogs killed the fox, and the owner sent the body to a state lab in Santa Fe for testing because of the animal's unusual behavior. The test results came back positive Wednesday.

FBI raids New Orleans house in spy case

WASHINGTON (AP) - The FBI raided a home in New Orleans on Monday in connection with a spy investigation of U.S. military secrets being given to China. A Defense Department analyst with security clearances was among three or four people being charged in what law enforcement officials described as separate cases in Virginia and California.

Gunmen steal $163.2 million in paintings

ZURICH, Switzerland (AP) - Three gunmen in ski masks and dark clothes burst into a museum just before closing time. After a quick run through the building, they hustled out the door and sped off with paintings by Cezanne, Degas, van Gogh and Monet valued at $163.2 million.
