Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois will speak in Albuquerque on Friday.
The event will be at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
He will discuss the economic challenges facing New Mexico, the country and his plans if elected president.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the program begins at 1:15 p.m.
Tickets are required, and admission is first-come, first-serve.

They can also be picked up today between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. at the Obama Headquarters at 1014 Lomas Blvd. N.W.
Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts will be in town today to campaign for Obama.
That free event will be at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Doors open at 10 a.m.
Trevor Fitzgibbons, a spokesman for the Obama campaign, said both events will help the senator gain momentum in the state.
He said the New Mexico campaign is being propelled by
volunteers who have been streaming into campaign headquarters at an increasing rate.
"We totally know that we're the underdogs in the campaign, but we're scrapping and fighting," Fitzgibbons said. "Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy are here to get out the vote."
Former President Bill Clinton's appearance today for Hillary Clinton's campaign has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. at Johnson Gym. The event is free.
