DL: Where?
OW: Ruidoso.
DL: Do you like it there?
OW: It's all right.
DL: Are you from there?
OW: Yes.
DL: Is the atmosphere a lot different than Albuquerque?
OW: Yes. It's a small town, very cold, lots of snowboarding.
DL: Do you plan to snowboard over winter break?
OW: I'd like to.
DL: Where's your favorite place to snowboard?
OW: Ski Apache in Ruidoso.
DL: What do you like about Ski Apache?
OW: It's got a gondola and a natural half-pipe.
DL: Do you have a lot of finals you're preparing for?
OW: Yeah. I've got a few.
DL: Are they going to be tough?
OW: They'll be tough enough.
DL: Do you have a strategy for studying?
OW: I love to just go to Satellite and study - go over my notes and things like that.
DL: Why Satellite?
OW: Because I love coffee, and the couches are comfortable.
DL: Do you know what classes you're going to take next semester?
OW: A lot more physics and chemistry classes.
DL: What do you like about chemistry?
OW: Well, I'm a science nerd, and I'm probably going pre-med, and so I need a lot of chemistry classes. I like physics better, though. I just need chemistry.
DL: What do you like about physics?
OW: It's how everything works in the whole world.
DL: What do you think about Stephen Hawking?
OW: I don't know a lot about him.
DL: What would like to do with science?
OW: I just want to apply it to the medical field mostly. That's what I'm interested in. I would like to be a surgeon.
DL: Why do you want to do that?
OW: I want to be a trauma surgeon because people come in with interesting things, and I love dissections. I really do.
DL: You don't mind the blood and guts?
OW: Not at all. That's my favorite part.
DL: What do you like to do on the weekends?
OW: I like longboarding a lot and reading.
DL: What do you like to read?
OW: Right now, I'm into H.P. Lovecraft.
DL: What's it about?
OW: It's actually just a collection of short stories about crazy people or people realizing they are crazy.
