RY: It's fun. You get to meet new people and start classes early.

DL: What are some of your hobbies? I couldn't help but notice your guitar.

RY: Yeah. I like music, computers, video games and stuff like that. And running.

DL: Do you play music with a group or solo?

RY: I usually just play by myself

DL: Do you plan to study guitar at UNM?

RY: Well, not right now, but we'll see.

DL: Are you learning a particular style of guitar?

RY: I like all kinds of music. I was playing a reggae beat earlier.

DL: What music are you listening to the most right now?

RY: Little Man Tate, actually.

DL: Do you have a favorite movie?

RY: I don't know. The last one I saw was "Knocked Up," and that was really funny.

DL: What do you do during your down time?

RY: I basically go around shopping. I go to Nob Hill a lot and that new Uptown shopping center.

DL: What do you like about Nob Hill?

RY: Just all the many shops, like Papers and Beeps.

DL: Do you like to read?

RY: I do like to read. One of my favorite authors is Chuck Palahniuk.

DL: Are you from Albuquerque?

RY: No. I'm from Farmington, but I'm down here a lot. But I was born in Albuquerque.

DL: Are you now planning to move to Albuquerque?

RY: Yeah. I'll be staying at the dorms. I applied for the Student Residence Center with five other roommates, but we all already know each other.
