daily lobo asks you:

What do you think about the Student Health Center offering the morning-after pill without a prescription?

Fay Soucy

Junior

English

It's a brilliant idea. Young people are getting

pregnant and either having to get an abortion or raising a child they can't afford.

Wally Bennett

Freshman

Pharmacy

I don't know the effects of it, so I don't know if it should be prescribed or not. It could be good. It could be bad. If somebody wants to, having the choice is a good thing.

Anna Levin

Junior

Communication

It's good because it gives people the opportunity to help themselves. It's not as big of a hassle for them, and it's more readily available to them.

Noah Lewis

Freshman

English

I do agree with it. I believe it's

a way to

prevent unplanned pregnancies, and I think forcing people to get a prescription for it is kind of ridiculous. It should be offered everywhere.

Riley Smyth

Sophomore

Music

That's stupid. I don't know. I guess it's a good idea. I don't really know. Why don't you use protection? It'd be a lot easier. Why are we promoting not using protection?

Stephen Noonoo

Senior

English and French

I generally

think it's a pretty good idea. I think it gives women more opportunities and stuff, especially if they're kind of self-conscious about going to a doctor. They might be more inclined to do it if they need to.
