Shuttle opens for UNMH

Staff Report

A shuttle that runs from UNM Hospital to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express opened July 14.

Sabra Basler, University spokeswoman, said the shuttle will make the lives of many UNM employees easier.

"We have parking problems here, and this will help alleviate parking problems," she said. "Also, it's a calm way to get to work. You can sit on the Rail Runner, drink your coffee and read the newspaper."

The shuttle runs from 6:25 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and from 3:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It takes about 15 minutes to get from the train station Downtown to the hospital.
