Rumors UNM President Louis Caldera's days at the University are numbered might be more than speculation.
Jamie Koch, president of the UNM Board of Regents, confirmed Monday that Caldera's contract is the only item on the agenda for a regents meeting scheduled for Wednesday.
Caldera is not commenting on the meeting, said Susan McKinsey, a spokeswoman for UNM.
"President Caldera is not going to be commenting on this at all," she said. "We have asked him enough times."

The meeting was announced over the weekend, but University officials would disclose only that the meeting was about personnel issues.
Koch said he would not give specifics on Caldera's contract.
"We will just have to see what happens on Wednesday," he said.
The meeting is scheduled in the Roberts Room of Scholes Hall at 1 p.m.
Caldera's contract is set to expire in July 2007. He has held the position since August 2003.
According to the UNM Regents' Policy Manual, there is no clear-cut protocol for the termination of a University president, but states the president "serves at the discretion of the board."
