A woman was found dead behind University Stadium at South Lot on Sunday afternoon, said Lt. Pat Davis of the UNM Police Department.
The Albuquerque Police Department received a call at 1:15 p.m. about a woman who was unconscious at the corner of Kathryn Drive and Buena Vista Street, Davis said.
APD contacted the UNM Police Department to assess the scene because the body was found on University property.
The officer on the scene found the woman dead, Davis said. He said the victim's family has not been contacted because the department cannot identify the body.

"At this point she has no identity," he said. "There was no identification on her."
The cause of the death is unknown and is being investigated by the medical examiners, Davis said.
The police report has not been completed, Davis said, and will not be completed until the cause of death is determined.
