UNM police officers were dispatched to Tucker Avenue and Yale Boulevard in response to vandalism. According to the police report, the woman who reported the vandalism saw the passenger of a black truck get out and break the window of a car. According to the report, the owner of the car said nothing was missing.
Aug. 21
UNM police were notified that a man pretending to be campus security in a dark SUV demanded to see a student's ID.
According to the police report, the suspect grabbed the student's wallet, and demanded the PIN to his ATM card, threatening to hurt him if he gave a wrong PIN. The student did not notify police until Aug 22. According to the report, the suspect was a thin Hispanic male with short dark hair and an NMSU T-shirt.
In a separate incident on Aug. 22, UNM police were sent to a street near the Coronado Dorms because of a report that a student was assaulted. According to the police report, someone in an SUV demanded the student to give up his money and belongings and threatened to beat him if he did not. The student dropped his bike and ran.

According to a police report, a UNM police officer on patrol noticed a woman hanging out of a vehicle and vomiting on the side of the road. The woman was not consistent in answering the officer's questions and continued to vomit. An Albuquerque ambulance took the woman to Presbyterian Hospital.
