The Daily Lobo asks you:

Tuition is going up about $200. What, if anything, would you rather spend your money on?

"Maybe on parts for my car. Video games, I like to play a lot of video games. Clothes. Just basic stuff like that."

Elias Griego

freshman

"I don't see anything else I'd really want to use it for. I'm happy with everything the way it is."

James Bolton

Junior

"Most importantly would be to spend it on the students, because we're paying for it and its future. (It will) give us better learning facilities, lab facilities, even better teaching facilities."

Tiffany Hayes

"The way tuition's going up $200, it's not really a big deal in my opinion, because I would probably end up spending that money on books anyway, the way things have been going this year."

Andre Norris

junior

"I can't think of anything else to spend it on at the moment. Faculty is probably a good thing to spend it on. It's important to have good faculty."

Kathy Tourgee

sophomore

"If it's going to faculty, I guess that's a good thing. I don't really know what I'd spend my money on though - probably just rent and bills and doing things."

Rachel Reynolds

junior
