April 19

UNM Police were contacted when roofing materials were stolen from the Child Psychiatric Center, according to a police report.

A man at the work site told the officer a heavy "roofing roll" had been stolen. The man said it usually takes two or three strong individuals to lift a roll.

There are no suspects in the theft, the report stated.

April 20

Two UNM Police officers were dispatched to a sorority house when residents reported a naked man in the parking lot, according to a police report.

Two women in the house told the officers the man was looking in the building's windows while naked and holding his penis. One woman told the officers the man was also urinating on vehicles. The man admitted to officers he was looking in the windows while naked, but denied urinating on vehicles. He also told the officers he didn't know the building was a sorority house.

The man was arrested for indecent exposure, the report stated.

April 20

A UNM Police officer was dispatched to Hokona Hall when a woman reported her office chair had been removed without her permission, a police report stated.

The woman told the officer she looked in two conference rooms for the missing chair, but could not find it. She told the officer she suspects it was just moved and not returned. There are no suspects and no charges were filed, according to the report.

April 23

UNM Police were called to the Center for the Arts when a man was reportedly handing out candy to children, according to a police report.

When the officer arrived, the man was sitting outside Rodey Theater drinking beer and smoking a cigarette, the report stated. He told the officer he was handing out candy because he was trying to be nice. The officer checked the man's identification and there were no warrants for his arrest, according to the report.

The officer then asked the man to leave campus.

April 24

A UNM Police officer was dispatched to the Center for the Arts when someone reported a vandalized vending machine, according to a police report.

When he arrived to the building, the officer found a damaged Pepsi vending machine, the report stated. The report stated the machine had been pried open and money was missing. Students in the room told the officer the machine was not damaged the previous night.

There are no suspects and no contact information on the machine, according to the report.
