April 8

While on patrol, a UNM police officer was dispatched to the College of Education to open a door for a student, according to a police report.

The officer reported when he opened the door, he smelled an odor of "burnt marijuana." When the officer approached two men, they began running, the report stated. The officer caught one of the men and reported smelling marijuana on the man. The man told the officer he was smoking marijuana in the building.

According to the report, the man had three bags of marijuana in his pocket. It is unclear in the police report if the man was arrested.

April 8

According to a police report, a UNM police officer responded to a call of an extremely intoxicated man on campus.

The officer reported the man was wearing no shirt and was slurring his words. The report stated the man was lying on the ground and had a large bottle of vodka next to him.

The man was transported to UNM Hospital for detoxification, the report stated.

April 10

A UNM Police officer noticed a vandalized vehicle in the C parking lot while on patrol, according to a police report.

The vehicle's front right window had been broken with an unknown object, the report stated. The damaged vehicle had New Mexico tags, according to the report.

No suspects were identified in the crime as of April 10.
