An instructor contacted UNM police because a man was regularly attending her class though he was not enrolled, according to a police report.
The instructor told the responding officer the man argued with her, claiming he was auditing the course, and refused to leave. The report stated the man admitted to the officer he was not enrolled at UNM because he couldn't afford tuition.
According to the report, staff in the Dean of Students Office confirmed the man has not been a student at the University since 1999. The man left the building after the officer told him not to return until he was officially enrolled, the report stated.

UNM Police were contacted when it was reported that two young males were vandalizing a building on Central Avenue, a police report stated.
According to the report, witnesses told the officer two teenagers were spray-painting "TU" on the wall. No suspects were immediately identified, the report stated.

A UNM Police officer was dispatched to Redondo Village dormitory in response to an intoxicated woman asleep in a hallway, according to a police report.
The officer made contact with the resident adviser, who said the woman was uncooperataive and wouldn't leave the premises. The adviser told the officer the woman was also using black marker to draw on a door in the building.
According to the report, the woman resisted the officer's attempts to remove her from the building before the officer put her in handcuffs and called for backup. The woman was transported to UNM Hospital after one of the officers noticed a bump on her head, the report stated.
March 15
UNM Police were contacted and dispatched to Santa Clara dormitory when a woman, who wasn't a student, managed to get into the locked building, according to a police report.
The woman told the officer she had been sexually assaulted and had a bruise around her left eye, the report stated. She told the officer she previously sought medical attention at UNM Hospital for the assault and said the abuse had been going on for many years, according the report.
The woman was holding a can of hairspray and began drinking it when the officer tried to take it from her, the report stated. She was then transferred to the Mental Health Center, according to the report.
Thursday
While on patrol, a UNM police officer was dispatched to the Children's Psychiatry Center in response to a theft of 20 green chile burritos, according to a police report.
The officer met with a worker at the center who said the burritos were to be sold for $2 a piece as a fund-raiser. There were no witnesses to the theft, the report stated.
Sunday
A UNM police officer was dispatched to the parking structure on Lomas Boulevard in response to a report of a vandalized vehicle, according to a police report.
The vehicle was parked 50 feet from the entrance to the structure, and the passenger-side door had been shot twice with yellow paintballs, the report stated. There were no witnesses to the incident, and the security camera didn't capture anything, according to the report.
