In Monday's Right Angle column "Dems use celebs as ploy for votes," columnist Alyssa Screpcinski incorrectly charged Michael Moore with demanding high fees for his appearances on the Slacker Uprising Tour. Moore is largely paying for the tour himself, said Anne Moore, Michael's sister. The College Democrats, Student Activities and UNM paid no money to Moore. The College Democrats used ticket fees and private donations to pay for the rental of the Pit and security costs. About $2 from each ticket went to the College Democrats.
