It's been fought to a standstill. Bush has more clever, witty remarks, and Kerry is more just trying to save face. I'm expecting a Bush victory unless Nader wins.

Kerry is presenting himself much better than Bush. Bush reaches out to the people more through his emotions, his expressions and his pauses. But Kerry presents himself more as a president, more educated. He sounds like he knows what he's talking about more than Bush does.

Bush is showing how successful a debater he is. He's attacking Kerry every chance he gets, and he's changing some of the rules of the debates they had set up. He always gets the last word. He's always putting Kerry in a position where he has to explain himself in nuanced terms, which makes it more complicated for him to get a solid message across.

My first impression is that Kerry has been a lot more collected in what he's saying, and Bush is definitely going for a more emotional approach. He's using a lot more personal examples and is a little bit more heated in his responses.

I haven't made my mind on whom to vote for, so it's pretty interesting to hear both sides about how each candidate feels about the issues. Bush has been attacking Kerry a lot, but Kerry has been attacking just as much. Kerry's been saying Bush was wrong in invading Iraq, and Bush was saying that Kerry goes back and forth on what he believes.

I'm really tired of hearing about Iraq. There are more issues than just Iraq. Homeland security is really important, and they need to be addressing the debt this country is in. Kerry's actually a really strong speaker. He uses really positive gestures when he speaks and speaks strongly. Bush tends to stutter more and has a lot of 'uhs' and 'ums' and mess-ups.

Well I've noticed Kerry doesn't like to talk about what he's going to do. He's mostly just critical of Bush. But if I'm going to go ahead and vote for Kerry, I'd like to hear about what he's actually going to do, but he just seems to avoid the topic. Kerry hasn't gone out on a limb. He's just criticizing Bush and obviously that's what they're going to do at debates. I'd much rather see Kerry take a strong stance on what he believes right now.

So far it's been a good debate. Bush is a more personable speaker than Kerry. I guess Kerry's more stiff.
They're talking a lot about Iraq, which is an important issue, but it's not the only issue. Kerry has brought up homeland security, but Bush has not.
