Editor,
I thought that the Daily Lobo was an "independent student newspaper."
I have noticed that you seem to print a large number of non-student letters. Why is that? Is it that the letters sent to you by students don't line up with your ideological position and as such are not worth printing? Or is it that the students have just given up on the Daily Liberal and don't write letters?
I find the Opinion section of the Daily Liberal to be a real let down. There is an obvious bias, which numerous students have criticized and yet no attempt to remedy the problem has been made.
I wonder how you can look yourself in the mirror and say, "I am a journalist."
The Opinion page has become nothing more than another outlet for the propaganda of the left. What a huge disappointment and abuse of privilege.

I wish the paper would get a real editor. We need an editor that makes an effort to represent the students and is not more concerned with forcing her ideology on the rest of us.
