UNM sophomore point guard Mandi Moore and shortstop Dusty Young of the baseball team are this week's New Mexico Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Moore delivered in crunch time Saturday night hitting four consecutive 3-pointers en route to a 91-85 overtime victory over the University of Miami. She also had a team high nine rebounds and ignited a team that found itself in a 14-point deficit in the second half.
Hitting safely in his 26th consecutive game, Young moved into third all-time at UNM in that category. Young was 3-5 at the plate in defeating Utah 11-6, Sunday.
