Daily Lobo
Love is easily the most notorious condition known to man. Throughout time, no higher good or greater evil deeds have been done in the name of love. Resistance is futile and no one is immune.
Unrequited, ill-advised or uninhibited, people can't seem to avoid falling in. Even the intrepid unsuspecting UNM student is vulnerable to this crazy thing called love.
This week UNM students took a moment out of their usual grind of studying and classes to talk to the Daily Lobo about love and all the pressures of the sometimes anticipated, sometimes dreaded Valentine's Day.
Students had reactions of all kinds. A few students felt inclined to send Valentines greetings to friends, lovers or whoever would have them. Some had offerings of gift-giving advice -- others seem to know the trick to creating the perfect Valentine's Day. Regardless of what was said, one thing is undeniable -- Valentine's Day puts a certain je ne sais quoi in the air and cupid's arrow takes many prisoners.
