Baseball junior Chris Alexander and senior basketball player Cristal Garcia are this week's New Mexico Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Garcia guided the Lobos to crucial victories over Wyoming and Colorado State this week. On Monday she had a team-high 16 points against UW. On Saturday, the Santa Fe native scored a career-high 21 points in a 74-54 win over CSU.
Alexander blasted his team to victories over New Mexico State and Oregon State in El Paso, Texas.
The first baseman hit three homers in two games against OSU while notching eight RBI's in the two games.
