roll over

Members of the Albuquerque Fire Department clean up gasoline spilled after a car was rolled over on campus Friday night by a UNM art student in what was apparently some type of display art project.

The incident happened in front of Carlisle Gym.

Lt. Michael Young of the UNM Police Departmnent, who was the department's watch commander the night of the incident, said he could not release the name of the student because police administrators were still processing the incident's report. But, he did say that there were no injuries in the incident and that the student was cited and released.

Young could not expand on what the student was cited for, or how the car got on campus.

Young said that the car did not have an engine in it, and that the gas was apparently coming from an open fuel line.

It is unclear if the student had permission to do the project. -Clay Holtzman
