The UNM Volleyball team heads north this weekend for two Mountain West Conference matches.
First off, the Lobos stop in Fort Collins, Colo. tonight to take on Colorado State University. Next, they'll head to Laramie, Wyo. for a contest with the University of Wyoming. This will be UNM's final conference road trip of the season.
The Lobos are 7-16 overall and 2-8 record in the MWC. They are also a dismal 1-8 in road matches this season. UNM is currently tied for seventh in the MWC with the Air Force Academy. The Lobos are coming off head coach Kelley Sliva's 150th career victory, which they earned against Air Force.
CSU comes into Friday's competition with a 16-8 overall record and an 8-2 record in conference matches. The Rams are ranked second in the MWC and are coming off a split road trip. The loss came at the hands of the San Diego State University Aztecs who beat CSU in three games. The Rams were victorious against University of Las Vegas at Nevada in four games in the following match.
The University of Wyoming Cowgirls possess an 18-8 overall record but are just 3-7 in MWC play. The Cowgirls are currently ranked sixth in the conference and are also coming off a road loss to the SDSU in four games. Wyoming also lost on the road to UNLV in three games.

The Lobos return home next week to take on SDSU Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. UNM plays UNLV the following evening, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. Both games will be held in the Johnson Center.
