Editor,
As a daily reader of your newspaper, I have become quite familiar with its format and general viewpoint. I have also become quite familiar with the comic strips that appear on the final page - perhaps even too familiar.
While some are good, I must admit that, in my personal opinion some are not. A few are simply baffling. In addition to this, the exact same comic strip might appear in different issues.
As a remedy to this situation, might I suggest that the Daily Lobo improve the variety of comic strips that it publishes? Taking limited money and resources into consideration, I would nonetheless like to endorse a comic strip titled "Red Meat." Quite a few readers, as well as the staff of this paper, might recognize it due to its publication in the Weekly Alibi.
This quirky and clever comic strip would make a great addition to a college newspaper such as the Daily Lobo. Its humor and satire would complement the opinions of columnists and readers alike.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
