LETTER: N.M. drivers regard turn signals optional

To respond to the editorial regarding driving habits in New Mexico. Yes, we have the worst drivers around.

I often joke with my friends that car companies should make the "New Mexico" model of cars: All models shipped to New Mexico will not include turn signals since drivers don't use them. I loathe driving so much that I commute to work on my bicycle 11 miles everyday each way. Remember all you drivers out there who don't use turn signals - not only do you look like an idiot but it is unsafe. Someday the APD will figure out that it needs to cite people for this.
