I would like to thank Clay Holtzman and photographer Lewis Jacobs for the excellent article "World Travelers visit UNM," which appeared in the in the Oct. 23 edition of the Daily Lobo.
Their gracious treatment of these foreign guests was gratifying and their patience in conducting a careful, in-depth interview, in spite of the challenges of working with an amateur interpreter (me), produced a favorable impression on the visitors and a complete and accurate report on their journey around the world.
As they boarded the train for Chicago, Manel and Joaquim asked me to convey their thanks to UNM and the Daily Lobo.
