UNM running back DonTrell Moore and the women's soccer defensive unit are this week's Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Moore had the best performance of his career on Saturday against Utah State in a 45-44 loss to the Aggies. The freshman had 166 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns, becoming the first UNM freshman to top the 100-yard rushing mark.at UNM since Reginald Johnson in 1996
The women's soccer team kept up its surprising season, playing nationally-ranked Utah to a draw on Sunday. It was the three shutouts for UNM's defense in its last four games.
