Freshman striker Ben Ashwill of the men's soccer team and junior forward Marte Dolva of the women's soccer team are this week's New Mexico Daily Lobo athletes of the week.
Ashwill had an outstanding weekend, leading the men's soccer team to victories over the University of Illinois at Chicago and Georgia Southern University. Ashwill scored three goals in two games to help UNM to its first 4-0 start since 1987.
Dolva had three goals and one assist this weekend while leading the Lobos to victories over Northern Arizona University and the University of Houston in the Lobo Adidas Classic. In two games, Dolva had 13 shots, four on goal.
