The Pizza Hut concession stand near Ortega Hall was broken into and robbed some time between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.
The stand's manager told UNM police that an unknown person broke the rear door lock and stole a metal box containing $300 in cash.
According to a report filed with the UNM Police Department, police were called to the concession stand Wednesday morning when the manager arrived to begin preparations for the day. After the manager noticed the rear door's lock was broken, he discovered that the metal cash box containing the money had been taken.
The manager said the box was bolted to the floor.
Police have no suspects in the incident.
