Has our school opened a new department for strip clubs such as TD’s and Fantasy World, so that they can advertise on an entire page of the Daily Lobo and welcome us back to school? Is this an attractive way to adorn the cover page of a university newspaper that people look at as a hallmark of what is going on?
Are we so down in money and funding Daily Lobos that we are only one step away from the out-loud porn ads? These ads keep the money going, true, but what about the ethics — or is that an old subject and belongs to the past? I believe being supported by the above mentioned clubs and printing their ads consistently in the Daily Lobo is not only an insult to all the women at UNM, but also defies the purpose of a university as an advocate of an educational organization.
