Myers' jump landed her in the UNM record book, where she tied Darcy Ahner in 1989 and Heidi Anderson in 1990 for the top all-time outdoor mark in the event. She eclipsed her previous season-best by 2.25 inches en route to her third straight victory in the event, and fourth overall this season

Senior Monique Harris won the triple jump with a leap of 41-feet, 11.50-inches. Freshman Amber Nolte notched her first collegiate victory in the 100-meter hurdles.

On the men's side, Lloyd won his 400-meter hurdles race with a time of 51.15 seconds. Sophomore Chris Orrell notched the men's second victory on the track, winning the 3,000 meters. In the field, freshman Hank Baskett III completed a UNM sweep in the high jump, clearing a season-best height of 6-feet, 10.25-inches for his second victory in three meets this spring.

UNM's next meet is May 16-18 in Colorado Springs, Colo., for the Mountain West Outdoor Championships.

Sophomore Divan Coetzee of the UNM men's tennis team was selected to participate in the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships, May 22-27, in College Station, Texas.

Coetzee, a transfer from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, compiled a 28-10 record in his first year as a Lobo, and was named to the Mountain West All-Conference team. He had two eight-match win streaks during the season, and he beat five ranked players, including two ranked in the top-50. Coetzee is ranked 114th in the country and was one of four players in the Mountain West to be invited to the tournament. This is the fourth straight year that the Lobos will have a singles player at the NCAAs, and UNM has sent either a singles or doubles team to the tournament in five out of the six years that Coach Alan Dils has been at the helm.
