Editor,
Since I am the one that called the dean on Sigma Chi, I would like the opportunity to say a few words to Jason Caldwell and the rest of his "brotherhood."
First, I cannot judge whether you are a racist or a good or moral person. I only can say that the women I saw you "saying hello" to (hey baby!) didn't seem to say hello back. Odd, for a friend.
However, you are correct. It doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks. The only thing that matters is a little detail called the University Code of Conduct, and your house's record on obeying them. What? You don't care about that either?
How about Sigma Chi's standard of conduct: A Sigma Chi member is believed to be "a man of good character, a student of fair ability with ambitious purposes, a congenial disposition, possessed of good morals, having a high sense of honor and a deep sense of personal responsibility."
Apparently, since they have withdrawn your charter - not the University - they feel that you are not deserving of their name.

So, feel free to retain your "brotherhood," as long as I, and others, no longer have to put up with your lack of respect and lack of maturity.
