LETTER: Poetry celebration successful

I wanted to take the time and thank everyone who participated in Wednesday's "Poetry Today," an event celebrating National Poetry Month.

Many voices and local musicians came together for one purpose, to express themselves through words.

The participation met and exceeded all expectations. You were all wonderful.

For those who happened by and decided to stop and give a listen, thank you, as well. It was, after all, for you, too.
