Graduate students head to the polls today through Thursday to fill a presidential vacancy and determine the fate of two constitutional amendments.
Aaron Kugler, a first-year law student, and Lorena Olmos, a law student and master's degree candidate in Latin American Studies, are running for president of the Graduate and Professional Student Association.
The amendments clarify the rules for Judiciary Committee members to avoid conflicts of interest and establishes guidelines for the distribution of the Graduate Research Fund.
Graduate students can vote by phone via I-TEL-UNM at 246-2020. They also can vote in the GPSA Office, the Latin American and Iberian Institute, the Law School Forum, the Psychology Department and the College of Education.

Groups interested in having a booth at this year's Fiestas on Johnson Field April 20 must sign up today by 5 p.m. in the Student Activities Office, Room 280 of the Student Services Center.
Campus groups interested in providing information about themselves are charged $15, campus groups interested in fund-raising pay $30, off campus groups providing information pay $25 and off campus vendors pay $100.
"We're just really hoping to get more students involved and get this event off the ground," said Shelli Rosenfeld, Student Special Events director.
So far, 45 groups have signed up to participate in the event that runs from noon to 7 p.m. and includes a full line up of Earth Day speakers and bands. Lisa Loeb will headline the show.
"The last time we had Fiestas was in 2000, but it's been several years since we did anything really big," Rosenfeld said. "We want to get as many people as possible involved in this and make it a hit."
