On Saturday, April 6, students, faculty and alumni will join for an exciting new service event - The Spring Storm. Created by students, this event is indicative of our commitment as individuals and as a university to make service a recurring part of our lives. Furthermore, The Spring Storm will strengthen UNM by bringing people from all parts of our community together to achieve a common goal.
The Spring Storm begins and ends at University Stadium with a kick-off breakfast and a celebration barbeque that includes a volunteer fair. After the kick-off breakfast, we will take part in a wide variety of community projects designed to help our community. At the end of the day, The Spring Storm will leave our community refreshed and revitalized.
I encourage you to join us in this wonderful new event. Please give part of your day to assist our community. Help make the Spring Storm a dramatic success for UNM and Albuquerque.
