The Lobos are hosting a Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association meet at Taos and Red River, N.M, on Friday and Saturday.
The Lobos are in fifth place in the association and will be looking to make up some ground. The Alpine events are in Taos, while the Nordic events are in Red River.

The Lobos (1-5) are winless in three games on the road to start the year. They begin a three-game series with the Aggies on Friday in Las Cruces.
UNM is coming off a three game home stand this past weekend, going 1-2 against Texas Tech University.
The one victory was courtesy of a strong performance by right-handed pitcher Aaron Smith. Smith allowed two runs and one hit in eight innings pitched in a 5-3 Lobo win that earned him Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.
