Editor,
Angela Williams' report on former vice presidential candidate Winona LaDuke in Wednesday's Daily Lobo states, "The average child watches 14,000 hours of commercials a year."
In-as-much as there are only 8,760 hours in a typical year, I would question the common sense of a person making the statement, as well as the critical thinking of the reporter and editor.

Editor's Note: LaDuke said the average child watches 1,400 hours of television annually. The error was made in reporting and the newspaper regrets the error.
