Bookworks, will hold a book-signing and discussion with Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Dan Stober and Albuquerque Journal reporter Ian Hoffman for their new book, "A Convenient Spy: Wen Ho Lee and the Politics of Nuclear Espionage," Friday at 7 p.m. The book, which chronicles the events surrounding Lee's incarceration for suspected espionage, also gives an in-depth view of the government's treatment of the case and many of its alleged mishandlings. The New Mexico Jazz Workshop begins the 2002 Guest Artist Series featuring the New York Voices, Friday. The New York Voices, a Grammy Award-winning vocal quartet, will be backed by an all-star New Mexico big band for a0n evening of harmonized group singing and lots of jazz. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Hiland Theatre, 4804 Central Ave. SE. Tickets cost $22, $27 and $32 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. For more information, call 255-9798.

The Coleman Gallery of Contemporary Art's second annual inventory art sale, which benefits the Art in the School, Inc., will open to the public tomorrow from 5-8 p.m. The artworks available at the benefit sale include all art works by gallery artists that are on the real site and Web site. Artists include the following: Carol Sanchez, Alan Paine Radebaugh, Cristina Hall-Strauss, Terry Lee Heller, Robert Hooton and Les Lilliston. The Musical Theatre Southwest will hold auditions for its upcoming production of "Jeckyl & Hyde," directed by Bill Potenziani. Vocal auditions will be Saturday at 10 a.m. and are by appointment only. The show has no dance audition. Vocal auditions should be no longer than one minute and may be from the show or of a similar style. An accompanist is provided.
