Junior center Jordan Adams of the women's basketball team and sophomore center Patrick Dennehy of the men's basketball team are the New Mexico Daily Lobo Athletes of the Week.
Dennehy corralled a career-high 17 rebounds, scored 10 points and took four stitches above his right eye during the men's basketball team's 87-55 win over Alcorn State University Saturday night.
Adams scored a game-high 21 points to lead the women's basketball team past ninth-ranked Texas Tech University Friday in The Pit. She then scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds during UNM's 74-65 loss to Oregon State at home Sunday.
