The UNM men's golf team came up short of winning its third tournament this season, finishing third at the Baylor Invitational during the week.
The Lobos struggled the first two rounds, but exploded in the final round to shoot a 3-under par 277. However, the Lobos dug themselves a big hole, finishing 13 strokes back of Baylor University. The Lobos finished the three-day tournament shooting a 4-under 836.
UNM was led by junior Michael Letzig, who finished in fourth place by shooting a 7-under 203. Senior Wil Collins shot an even 210, senior Scott Hailes ended with a 1-over 211, sophomore Jay Reynolds shot a 7-over 217 and freshman Madalitso Muthiya finished with an 8-over 218.

The UNM swimming and diving team is on the road for the second straight week when it travels to San Diego, Calif., to take on several teams.
The Lobos battle Fresno State University and the University of San Diego Friday, then take on San Diego State University and the Air Force Academy Saturday.

The diving team will be led by freshman Becca Barras, who was named the conference Diver of the Week

The UNM women's soccer team will be looking to end its regular season with a win when it plays on the road against Northern Arizona University.
The Lobos (4-10-2) are trying to get their fourth road victory of the season against the Lumberjacks. UNM is playing well of late, having won three of its last five matches.
The Lobos will try to continue their dominance over Northern Arizona, having beat them the last three years by identical 2-1 margins.

The UNM volleyball team has struggled mightily this season, but one of its bright spots came against its upcoming opponent, the Air Force Academy.
The Lobos' (3-18, 1-10 in the Mountain West Conference) only win in conference came against the Falcons earlier this season 3-1 and the two teams play in Colorado Springs, Colo. Friday.
The Falcons will be trying to get their first win in conference after starting 0-11, 1-17 overall.
