It seems obvious to me that our great American traditions and values are being thrown out the window by the leftist community, which dominates campus life and politics from the classroom to the street.
The American flag, a symbol of freedom and liberty worldwide, is being trampled on day after day, and now the heroes of this country, our veterans, are being criticized and demonized by people who take advantage of what these brave men and women have fought to defend our freedoms.
It is a shame that a respected and honored man, such as Rep. Bill Fuller, is no longer respected and celebrated at our liberal dominated campus.
This man is a retired Army colonel who fought bravely and selflessly in defense of the greatest country on God's green earth - America.
Unfortunately, instead of celebrating our honored heroes, many would rather celebrate the culture of extreme appeasement.

Mr. Fuller was right on target with his remarks at the Rally for America on Nov. 11.
Many youths today, especially on college campuses, have empty minds that are being filled with anti-American, anti-Christian ideals.
These impressionable minds are being taught to hate everything America stands for by communist-leaning professors, who led the charge against our heroes in Vietnam.
I seriously doubt that any of these individuals on America's college campuses understand great sacrifices made by great American heroes like Rep. Fuller.
These same individuals are the ones protesting against the war, and are foolish and disgraceful because they are taking advantage of the rights that so many men and women before them have died so bravely to win.
Without war, our country would not be the beacon for freedom and democracy worldwide that it is today.
We fought the British in the Revolutionary War to win our freedom and become a country.
We fought our brothers in the Civil War to keep our country united.
We fought Hitler in World War II to keep the world free from tyranny and oppression.
We fought the Cold War to keep the world safe from the evils that communism and socialism bring.
Now, we fight this war on terrorism to keep the world safe from fear by destroying evil monsters such as Osama bin Laden.
Thomas Jefferson once said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed, from time to time, with blood of patriots and tyrants alike."
I commend Bill Fuller for standing up for truth and liberty on our campus.
In this era of extreme political correctness, moral relativism and peace at all costs, it is extremely rare to find a great patriot such as Mr. Fuller, who is not afraid to challenge the extreme leftist establishment on this campus.
